Tony joined Access Testing in 1997. A Chartered Management Accountant by background, in 2001 Tony was appointed CEO of the company and brought stability and direction to the organisation through his desire to build a first class testing organisation. In 2003, Tony engineered the MBO which saw the company’s management team take over as the new owners.
Since taking over as CEO Tony has grown Access Testing to deliver over $45 Million in Testing Services. The company has also been placed in BRW’s Fast 100 and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 in both 2005 and 2006 recognising the innovation and creativity that Tony has brought to Access. This pioneering approach has seen Access change the face of traditional user experience testing in the Australian market, with flat screen eye tracking now established as the norm amongst all industry companies.
In 2005, Tony again saw the opportunity to pioneer a new service and extend Access’s capabilities beyond the technology sector and founded Insight Testing. Insight Testing uses leading edge technology with testing methodology to give a unique insight into how customers interact with products and services in their actual environment. Drawing on the skills developed over years of user testing, Insight Testing combines traditional testing techniques, business and human behaviour insight with eye tracking technology. Tony’s brings a deep understanding of human behaviour, eye tracking systems and techniques to the Insight Testing area and has been involved in numerous studies including TV appearances on Channel 7’s Today Tonight on the differences between men and women in a retail environment and working with the Wallabies to eye track top class athletes.
Under Tony’s direction offices have been established in Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane and the vision, direction and value proposition for Access’s offerings has been established.
Tony’s core competency rests in the successful management of complex relationships (internally and externally) and his ability to simplify and manage complex business issues.
Tony’s successful management approach has seen the company position itself as a dominant player in the testing market in Australia.
