Colin Cherry has been a computer software professional for over 25 years and has specialised in Software Test Management for the past 12. Colin has worked in as a Test Manager in Europe, the USA and Australia and is currently working for IBM as a Senior Test Consultant providing management, coaching and mentoring services. He has presented at many Software Testing Conferences in Europe and Australia and was co-Chair of the AsiaStar Testing Conference for 3 years.

Colin specialises in Risk-Based techniques and is currently developing a Test Execution Prediction & Reporting Model that will enable organisations to better anticipate the outcomes of their Functional Testing programs. Colin is a CSTP and ISTQB qualified practitioner who believes that the education and development of Software Testers is still a long way short of where it needs to be.
