Jay Sinha is a seasoned IT Testing professional with over 10 years of extensive experience in software testing.

After completing his degree from University of Tasmania in 1987, he kicked-off his IT career with IBM Canada at Toronto.

He returned to Australia in 1989 to work across several public as well as private sector organisations over the course of next 19 years.

1998 was a turning point in Jay's career, when he joined DMR Consulting at Brisbane as Test Management Consultant. Since then he has made significant contributions to organisations such as Suncorp, Hong Kong Airport Authority, Brisbane City Council, and several Queensland Government agencies to improve the quality of their software products and services.

As QA / Testing Advisor / Strategist for the Suncorp group, Jay has developed a passion for Quality Assurance, elevating software testing to a higher level of lifecycle maturity.

Some of his achievements include:

• Successful testing of major projects in Suncorp/GIO Integration program of work (2001-2002)
• Pioneered the testing / QA / implementation of a major project with off-shore development component (partner - Infosys) (2003)
• Injected flexibility in the testing process by introducing Risk-based Testing and flexible / “fit-for-purpose” Quality Assurance criteria at Suncorp (2005)
• Designed the new Testing (QA) Services model for Suncorp Group – (2007)

After his chain of successes at Suncorp, Jay had a short stint with EDS Queensland as Programme Testing Manager. He streamlined the testing strategy of a major programme of work between to major banks to achieve a saving in excess of $100,000.

He has recently joined K.J. Ross & Associates as Test Manager at a major Queensland Government client.
