| Testing through the Eyes of a CEO |
|
| Tim Brosnanm - Valintus (AU) |
| |
As the Information Age continues to mature at an ever increasing pace, critical issues around the quality of information organizations hold within their ICT systems and how they share it with other organisations has become an increasing concern to key stakeholders.
Organisations are seeking to derive greater value from their ICT investments through greater leverage of their information assets with customer centric and service orientated architectures. This has added significantly to the complexity for the testing function when it comes to ensuring the targeted business outcomes can be delivered.
This can be best demonstrated in the human services related industries where highly sensitive personal information is used and shared as the basis for the way in which the public is provided with services from a broad range of service providers.
Tim explores the challenges now facing the software testing community specifically in the areas of testing governance, stakeholder management and the alignment of testing outcomes with the strategic objectives of the organization.
Tim will provide the perspective of a key testing stakeholder and challenge the way that testing functions are currently governed and engage their stakeholders.
Based on Tim’s many years of experience as an IT executive, Tim will provide an executive assessment of testing rather than from the practitioner’s perspective.
