Overview
The CSTP Foundation provides attendees a thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts of testing. The main aim of the course is to provide a solid basis for attendees’ further development through the CSTP programme. More than supplying an understanding of testing terminology, methods and standards, the goal is that attendees return to their place of work with strong practical skills, such as the identification of risk and how testing can mitigate the risk, how to carefully design and document test cases, plus how to record and report the results of testing,
Different techniques and methodologies are discussed, to help supply a ‘testing toolbox’ for each attendee, allowing the students to employ recognised best practice in their place of work.
