In the last decade, various research initiatives have posted insights into the antecedents and outcomes of quality in B2B relationships. Quality itself is a complex phenomenon with multiple meanings across the value chain. Therefore, the University of St. Gallen ran a large-scale research project in 2008 to assess the sources of quality in the IT sector. More than 300 CIOs and top executives of major suppliers took part. The results carried significant implications for e.g. cooperation strategies, measurability of services and value, early error detection, and other issues of note. |
