The software quality management and software testing community of the Nordic region came together for the first time at the 2009 Software & Systems Quality Conference Nordic in Stockholm.

Experts and experienced users gave papers on subjects focusing agile testing, metrics, test management, process improvement, performance testing, test automation and test methodology. The 2009 top keynote speakers were Gilbert van der Heiden (Gartner) and Renate Chlumska. Furthermore Jörgen Lindqvist (Com-puter Sweden) moderated a panel discussion under the name of “Trends in Testing and Quality Manage-ment with Respect to the Current Economic Climate” and the survey results of this year’s International Soft-ware Testing Industry Survey 2009 were presented by Arne Wallmon, Rudolf van Megen (SQS) and Monish Mishra (Wipro).

In addition to the presentations, the delegates had the opportunity to get detailed information directly from the various vendors about tools and services at the exhibition during the conference. Seven companies joined this exhibition, among them HP as Platinum Sponsor.
